Our HQ drill core boxes are made of twin wall fluted plastic sheets which are extruded from HDPP ( high density polypropylene) resin. The sheet has a similar corrugated structure as the paper cardboard, except that the flutes are rectangular as the pictures below.
Due to this hollow construction, the sheet has a unique feature of light-weight. Unlike the paper cardboard which loses its rigidity when absorbing the water, the corrugated polypropylene sheets are water and moist repellant which allow our drill core boxes can store the wet drill core perfectly.
Furthermore, the melt temperature of the PP material is about 171 °C. So our drill core boxes can be used in very high temperature environment which is not suitable for the waxed cardboard drill core boxes.
With the similar structure of waxed cardboard box, Our fluted plastic sheets drilling core boxes consist of three parts as the picture below.

Each part of our fluted plastic sheets core box can be unfolded to a flat sheet as following pictures.
This unfoldability of our drilling core boxes can reduce the volume of the empty boxes significantly, and then offers a big advantage of saving shipping space and cost.
The photo below shows that 1400 HQ plus 300 NQ drill core boxes just need 5 pallets to load. And the Gross Weight and Volume are only 1,700 kg and 9.5 CBM respectively. Compared with the hard injection molded plastic core boxes which need about 4,000 kg and 28 CBM to ship for the same quantity of boxes, our fluted plastic sheets drilling core boxes can save a lot of money for transportation.
